(Fredericksburg, VA) – Two new members of Rappahannock Goodwill Industries’ board of directors bring a wealth of local knowledge.
The new members are Robert Hagan, new president of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce and a former member of the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors, and Cathy Phillips, chief financial officer for the National Bank of Fredericksburg.

He also has deep roots in the local business community, as owner of Chesapeake Promotional Services, which has clients in the public and private sectors.
Phillips serves on two key committees for the board, reviewing financial operations with Sydney Wooding, Rappahannock Goodwill’s vice president for finance, as well as taking part in the group’s long-term planning.
Last year Goodwill’s revenues were just over $12.7 million, and it returned more than $11.8 million to the community through its efforts to provide employment and employment services to local residents.
Hagan earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and did graduate work in rehabilitative studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. Phillips is a resident of North Stafford and a graduate of The College of William & Mary, where she earned a bachelor’s in economics. She earned her MBA at George Mason University.
