Rappahannock Goodwill Industries Now Offers Savings by the Pound with the Opening of the Fredericksburg Outlet Store

Now RGI has opened the doors of their first outlet location, which is also the only Goodwill Outlet located in the Northern Virginia area. According to Ted Smith, RGI’s VP of Donated Goods, “the generous donations that we receive from our community have made it possible to open a Goodwill Outlet. The outlet is where customers can find the quality merchandise they have come to expect from Goodwill at the most affordable prices ever.”
The Goodwill Outlet offers clothing and house wares priced per pound. Regardless of brand or style, clothing and house wares will be weighed and sold at a pre-established per-pound rate. This pricing is ideal for large families wishing to purchase items in bulk or anyone looking for a great deal. All of the additional merchandise sold at the Outlet Store, which includes everything from shoes, CD’s, DVD’s, televisions, books and more, will be offered at significantly reduced prices from those offered at the standard Goodwill Stores.
RGI is excited for the opportunity to provide yet another opportunity to offer local families high value merchandise at affordable prices. As with all donations made to RGI, approximately 95 cents from every dollar spent at the Goodwill Outlet Store will be used to provide essential services to individuals and families who are disadvantaged or have a disability.
