Become a volunteer at Goodwill.

Like computers? Want to do your part to help your community pull out of this recession? Your local Goodwill’s Job Help Centers are seeking individuals with great communication skills and experience using computers to navigate today’s job market. Goodwill provides free computer skills and job search skills training to anyone who needs it as they seek employment. With your help, we can serve even more people and lower the unemployment rate in the area.

We are particularly in need for volunteers to assist participants with their work in the computer lab, and also to help with some administrative work (doing exit interviews by phone, answering questions, and various copying and filing tasks). The ideal volunteer will be a self-starter, familiar with basic computer operation and internet navigation, and comfortable communicating with people from all walks of life.

We have opportunities available at all of our Job Help Center locations – in downtown Fredericksburg, North Stafford, and Massaponax.
